'Peter Pan' Tour Takes Flight with Soaring New Cast

Peterpantour.com Presentations has unveiled the complete cast roster for their soaring new production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway classic, Peter Pan.

The reimagined staging will make its world premiere at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Saint Paul, MN this December as part of the Ordway's Broadway series. The national tour will then spread its wings in February 2024, launching at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, MD before soaring to theaters across the country including Dayton, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Durham, Tampa and many more cities in its first year on the road. Additional tour stops will be announced soon on peterpantour.com.

As previously announced, the iconic title role of 'Peter Pan' will be embodied by 16-year-old Nolan Almeida, an Orange County, CA native recently seen as 'Crutchie' in Newsies at 5-Star Theatricals. Joining him is Cody Garcia, fresh off the national tours of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Elf, as the delightfully dastardly 'Captain Hook'. Rounding out the principal cast are Emerson College graduate Hawa Kamara making her professional debut as 'Wendy', and acclaimed recording artist Raye Zaragoza as 'Tiger Lily'.

The full company includes Shefali Deshpande as 'Mrs. Darling', Kurt Perry as 'Smee', with William Foon and Micah Turner Lee alternating as 'John', and Reed Epley and Jayden Guarneri alternating as 'Michael'. The ensemble features Charles Antenen, Jonah Barricklo, Eric Allen Boyd, Christina Hélène Braa, Brandon Gille, Ryan Perry Marks, Michael Marrero, Kenny Ramos, Hannah Schmidt, and Kiara Williams. Rounding out the cast are swings Tony Collins, Bailey Frankenberg, Leo Gallegos and Cheyenne Omani.

Director Lonny Price exudes excitement over his starry leading players: "Nolan embodies all the beautiful contradictions of Peter. An extraordinarily gifted young actor, wonderful singer and nothing short of magical. Cody Garcia as Captain Hook is utterly modern, surprising and one of the most engaging actors I've ever worked with."

Price continues, "I also want to celebrate Hawa Kamara, making her pro debut as Wendy! A wildly charismatic young actress, as talented as she is beautiful. And the sensational Raye Zaragoza as Tiger Lily – brilliant multi-faceted recording artist and actress. This company will simply blow people away."

This high-flying musical spectacle has enchanted audiences for nearly 70 years and now gets a magical reimagining helmed by Emmy winner Lonny Price, with a new book by playwright Larissa FastHorse and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
